Climate Designer amplifying positive impact through compelling visual communication
My name is Sofia Elisabeth. I'm a freelance graphic designer based in Berlin, working globally with change-makers. My mission is to unite ethics with aesthetics. That's why I work with conscious businesses in the sustainability field to amplify their message and positive impact through compelling visuals. With my background in sustainability, combined with my diverse creative services, my mission is to give a spotlight to those who are doing good for people and the planet – design that captivates both the eyes and the heart.
Projects
I was commissioned by Climate-KIC’s 'City Loops' project to design and bring the circular case studies to life in the form of a report called "Leveraging Circular Economy Innovation".
EIT Climate-KIC’s 'City Loops' project worked with partners from all over Europe to empower local actors to shift to circular economy strategies. The training programme and innovation tools developed through City Loops aims to strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration and uncover hidden value and business opportunities through the circular economy.
My role in this report was to come up with a creative direction, design the layout, and create supporting illustrations. This project's impact is in promoting circular innovation tools and training methods to build circular capacity and cross-sectoral collaboration by improving closed-loop production processes, creating new value from previous streams, and identifying new business opportunities within value chains.
I was commissioned to design visual assets for the #mymoneymyplanet campaign by Mattrvest (https://www.mattrvest.com/). The scope of this project included infographic design, illustration, and content creation for social media.
The impact of this project is to promote sustainable finance, raise awareness about the environmental impact that our finances have on the climate, and demand more transparency from financial institutions.
