FAQ

What makes someone a climate designer?

Climate Designers are graphic designers, industrial designers, fashion designers, software designers, illustrators, behavior designers, UX/UI designers, filmmakers, interior designers, interaction designers, motion designers, architects, visual designers — any kind of designer pushing for climate action in their work. We want the makers and doers, the movers and shakers.

What if my portfolio isn’t 100% climate-focused?

No problem! We ask for at least 2 climate-related projects to be featured as a Climate Designer. You’ll have a chance to feature those projects specifically when you apply.

How do I get accepted?

We read each application and look at the projects to make sure applicants are working towards climate action. We may follow up via email for more information. If it all aligns, we’ll create a profile for the world to see.

What do I do once accepted?

We’ll email you to let you know your profile link and give you any chance to make changes. We encourage you to link to your profile from your website to help your SEO.

Where will my profile be used?

We may feature profiles on this site, in our newsletter and on our social media. By submitting a profile, you agree to be associated with and potentially promoted by us on our channels to help inspire more designers to focus their work on climate action.
