Climate Designer focusing on creating awareness about global climate changes through design, environment and fun

Myself Ambar, design athlete, I have been interested in creative things right from childhood. Pursuing the same as a career as also as a duty towards humanity, especially problems faced by our planet due to global warming.

Heal Arctic: Pillar of Ecosystem

Disappearing snow, sea ice, glaciers and permafrost means the Polar Regions have become profoundly different from what we imagine. All that melting means massive changes for the rest of the world too. Sea levels are rising as polar glaciers and ice sheets melt away. The two geographical poles play a major role in climatology. Arctic warming is affecting the rest of the planet.

The above project is a visual identity and branding project created by me during my Master’s in Design. Aim of this project is to create a campaign for an international environmental organization (United Nations Climate Change). I have designed a logo which will depict the urgency of the climatic changes occurring in the Arctic region.

The project consists of various components like typography, colors, campaign name, tagline wherein the design is created to generate awareness among masses.

Nature and Forms

"Thousands and hundreds of years if you want to enjoy the fruits and happiness of life, then take up systematic planting of trees." is a famous quote.

Dragon's blood trees found in Socotra Island, Yemen are an evolutionary marvel of the plant kingdom, but they may not be around forever. Despite all of these future of these species is uncertain. The tree is perhaps best known for red resin. It has a huge range of traditional medicinal uses. The most significant problem the island is facing is severe climate changes. Socotra Island is drying out with once reliable monsoon weather becoming patchy and irregular.

The above project is a Nature and Forms project created by me during my Bachelor's of Design (Product). Aim of the project was to choose any living organism and study the form and functional language of that entity (Dragons blood tree) and to translate, design and derive a new consumer product.

Biomimicry, biomorphism, animating, usability, nature and environmental study were the learning outcomes of this project.
