Initiatives:
The Climate Narratives for Marginalized Communities will initiate a storytelling project highlighting the climate experiences and challenges faced by marginalized communities in the Philippines through visual narratives to raise awareness, spark empathy, and foster understanding among a broader audience. This initiative gives a resounding voice to the marginalized and encourages action and solidarity toward creating inclusive climate solutions.
Climate Education and Capacity Building will equip design creatives with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle the climate crisis effectively through workshops and webinars to enhance their understanding of sustainability, climate science, and regenerative design practices, and drive meaningful change and revolutionize the way design addresses climate challenges.
The Design for Sustainability Incubator will provide a nurturing ecosystem for design entrepreneurs dedicated to developing sustainable solutions by offering mentorship, resources, and a supportive community to emerging design startups that aim to address environmental challenges through innovative products, services, or systems. By fostering creativity, diversity, and innovation, the incubator will enable design creatives to transform their ideas into impactful solutions and facilitate connections with investors, industry experts, and potential partners to help startups thrive and bring their sustainable designs to the market.
