Animal Liberation Conference
Direct Action Everywhere, an international animal rights activism group, hosts an annual conference in Berkeley, California. Conference organizers use a mobile app to coordinate events and civil disobedience actions, but the existing app wasn’t meeting the needs of conference organizers or participants. I worked with two other UX designers over a 3-week sprint to redesign the app.

Illinois Stewardship Alliance
The last overhaul of the Illinois Stewardship Alliance’s website was over nine years ago. The organization had a number of important upcoming initiatives that required a website that is optimized for a positive user experience. They wanted to remain on Wordpress, and they needed a new vision for the site’s information architecture and layout in order to achieve their goal of becoming the go to organization for creating a just and regenerative food and farm system in Illinois. I led a design sprint where I extensively analyzed the Alliance’s goals and their existing site’s performance. From that research, I developed a prototype and conducted further testing to fine-tune and prove my design. The final deliverable was a design system (based on the Material Design guidelines) and an extensively annotated prototype for desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints, which led to a smooth transition to their Wordpress developer implementing the design.
